Returns Policy

30 day returns

We hope you’re delighted every time you receive an order from Italian Cookshop. If for any reason you are not entirely happy, you can return any item in its original condition to us for Free (UK only) within 30 days of receipt. If it’s an unwanted gift purchased over the festive period between November and December, we’ll be happy to extend this to 45 days  – just let us know and we can help.

 

Returning Domestic orders

We’re happy to accept returns as long as they are still in their original condition and packaging. Used products, or products not in resaleable condition will not be eligible for refund. 

  • Request your Return via our contact form or by emailing hello@italiancookshop.com with your name, order number and reason for return. Upon approval we’ll provide you with details of how to return the item, including a prepaid shipping label.
  • Once your return request is approved, you have 14 days from time of approval to post the item back to us.
  • Your products will be examined and a full refund will be issued back to your original payment method within 5 working days of receiving the return. A refund notification will be emailed to the email address you used when making your original purchase.

 

Returning International Orders

  • Where an international order is received damaged, incomplete, or the wrong item is sent, we can arrange a refund or return – please contact us with your specific query and we’ll be happy to help. If the item is no longer wanted or you changed your mind, please be aware that you are responsible for the return shipping fees.
  • Any refunds issued will be applied to your original payment method.


Refund Policy

Refunds

We aim to process all refunds within 5 working days of receiving the returned items, and you will receive an email notification when we have processed the refund.  Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used when placing the order. 

Refunds can take up to 10 working days from the date of the processed refund to show in your account.  If you would like an update regarding your refund before this time has elapsed, please contact your credit card company or bank.  If you still have not received your refund after 10 working days, please contact us.

 

Delivery Times and Shipping Delays 

We aim to dispatch orders received by 12pm on the same working day.  During busy periods, despatch times may occasionally be extended by 1-2 working days.  If dispatch of your order is significantly delayed we’ll notify you by email or telephone. 

Estimated delivery times are provided on our Delivery Policy page. Occasionally, due to circumstances outside our control such as courier strike action or severe weather conditions, delivery times may be extended. Wherever possible we will notify customers of known delays with a notification message at the top of our website, by email and/or telephone.

Delayed or missing parcels caused by errors made by customers when providing shipping details on their order(s) are the responsibility of the customer and are not eligible for a refund.
