Delivery Policy 

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Italian Cookshop. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Delivery Policy.

  

Shipment processing time

Orders placed before 12:00pm are processed on the same working day. Orders are not shipped on weekends or bank holidays.

If we’re experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by one or two working days. Please allow these additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.


Shipping rates & delivery estimates 

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.  You can get an accurate shipping quote with our Shipping Price Calculator, found at the bottom of your shopping cart:

  • Add the items you wish to purchase to the shopping cart.
  • Fill in the delivery country and zip/postal code.
  • The shipping calculator will quote an accurate shipping price based on the above.

We can post most orders using Royal Mail. However, for large orders or individual large items in an order, this may not be possible due to postal size restrictions.  In this eventuality we will contact you with further options regarding available couriers and a customised shipping quote.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a ‘Shipment Confirmation’ email once your order has shipped.  If you have chosen a tracked shipping service at checkout, your confirmation email will include a tracking link which will take you to your tracking details.  Please allow 24 hours for the tracking number to become active.  You can also find this information by logging in to your “Account” on the website.


International Orders 

Shipping prices for international orders are calculated by weight. Add the items to your basket and navigate to the checkout page for an individual shipping price quote.

Certain items or very large orders may be too heavy or bulky for the website to provide an accurate shipping quote. If this is the case, please contact us with your requirements to provide you with a customised shipping option.

International orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes which are the responsibility of the customer. Italian Cookshop Ltd is not responsible for any customs duties, taxes or fees applied to your order. 

We currently ship to Europe, North America, Middle East (with some exclusions), Asia and Australasia.  Please note that this list can change at short notice, depending on availability and reliability of postal services. If the website is blocking a purchase from your particular country, please contact us and we can assist.


Delivery Delays

Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to circumstances outside our control, such as courier strike action or freak weather events. If your parcel is delayed, please contact us and we’ll be happy to assist.


Damages

If your order arrives damaged, contact us as soon as possible (ideally within 24 hours) to notify us of the issue. Please also send us pictures and a description of the damaged items and packaging. 

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods as this may be required to file a claim with the courier.


FAQs

Can I track my parcel?

Where a tracked shipping service is chosen, tracking information will be included in your dispatch confirmation email. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking number to become active.  Please note: Royal Mail 2nd Class and Royal Mail 1st Class are not considered 'tracked services'. For fully tracked options, please choose Royal Mail 48 Tracked, Royal Mail 24 Tracked, or Express Next Day options.

I've entered the wrong shipping address, can I change it?

If this happens to you, contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to change it before it enters the dispatch process.  Once this happens we aren’t able to alter details.

Please note that if incomplete and/or incorrect shipping details are entered and the parcel is dispatched, we cannot be held responsible in the event of delay or loss.

Can I cancel my order after it has been placed?

Wherever possible we will cancel your order after it has been placed. However, once the order has entered the dispatch process it will be too late to cancel, so please ensure any cancellation requests are made as soon as possible.
